Bruce is a Registered Home Inspector, a designation granted by the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors under the assent of the government of Ontario. Under 25 % of the home inspectors in Ontario carry the designation of RHI. BLT Home Inspections is not a franchise. BLT Home Inspections is a growing company locally owned by Bruce L. Treacy. Bruce performs home inspections Hamilton, home inspections Burlington, home inspections Ancaster, home inspections Waterdown, home inspections Dundas, Stoney Creek, Mount Hope and most of the Golden Horseshoe area. Additionally, Bruce has completed the Defect Recognition and Report Writing Course offered by the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors, Part 9 Building Code Act, Building Envelope and Health and Safety, as well as completing certificate courses from Mohawk College complementing his experience in residential construction practices, residential framing, electrical and plumbing techniques. Bruce has also completed the Home Inspection Certificate program at Mohawk College. This comprehensive Canadian based home inspection program covers all aspects of home inspection from building structure, electricity and plumbing to roofing, insulation, heating and air conditioning. After 20 years in Property Maintenance and graduating from Hamilton’s Mohawk College as an Industrial Engineering Technologist, Bruce has not only the formal education required, but, the hands on experience to provide a detailed and thorough home inspection.
